Nala slept in! She looked at the clock and was shocked to see that the first class would start in 20 minutes, but she had just gotten out of bed. There was no time for breakfast! She only had time to get dressed, hastily wash up, and stuff her school supplies into her backpack.

She rushed out of the apartment, but found that the bus had just left the station. Nala was very disappointed and didn't have time to wait for the next one. She decided to run to school.

She ran along the street as fast as she could. Even though there weren't many pedestrians at this time, she still had to avoid them every now and then to avoid colliding with them.

As she passed a construction site, the road surface was uneven, and Nala stumbled a few times. She felt like her heart was about to jump out of her chest!

When she was waiting at a red light, she was panting heavily. A little dog curiously looked at her. She didn't care about the gaze of others and kept looking at her watch, calculating how much time she had left before class.

The scent of coffee and bread wafted in the air. She was so hungry! But this thought only flashed through her mind, and she kept running past the shops.

She ran with all her might and finally arrived at the classroom one second before the bell rang. She sat down in her chair, breathed a sigh of relief, and felt very lucky. Her heart was still pounding.
At that moment, Nala secretly made up her mind to manage her time better in the future. She couldn't afford to have such a close call again!
