The Bread Party

4.5

Nala loved baking classes, particularly those that focused on bread making. She enjoyed starting from scratch, waiting for the dough to rise, and relished the satisfaction of hot bread fresh from the oven. As she watched the dough rise and fall, she felt a magical sense of growth and anticipation.

In class, Nala and her classmates made a variety of breads, experimenting with different techniques and recipes. They eagerly showed their creations to one another, learning and growing from the teacher's feedback.

But after class, the leftover bread had to be dealt with. Nala didn't want it to go to waste, so she decided to bring the bread home and share it with her friends.

She packaged the bread and invited her friends over for a bread party.

When Nala's friends arrived, they were amazed by the variety and quantity of breads on offer. There were sourdoughs, baguettes, and sweet breads with various fillings.

Nala's friends were impressed with the quality of the bread, finding it hard to believe that such beautiful and delicious breads were made by Nala and her classmates in class.

Naturally, Nala's friends began discussing bread and food pairings. They talked about how to make delicious sandwiches and other foods with bread, and shared their own stories about cooking. They ate and talked, enjoying themselves thoroughly.

One friend suggested a fun game involving bread. They decidedto select a representative who would taste a piece of bread and describe its flavor using color and shape descriptors, and the others would guess the bread's flavor. The person who guessed correctly would become the next representative. The game elevated the party atmosphere, and everyone learned about different types and flavors of bread, as well as deepening their appreciation for food and friendship.

At the end of the party, Nala's friends helped clean up the kitchen and dispose of the bread crumbs.

They placed the bread crumbs in the garden, allowing passing birds and squirrels to feast on them.

Nala was happy that she not only prevented the waste of bread but also brought her friends together to share her love for baking.
